Empathy Training

Empathy training for leaders who refuse to perform it.

TRUEHN's empathy training is peer-led and practitioner-grade — a living curriculum used by advisors, coaches, founders, and clinicians inside the compassion network.

Move past 'active listening' scripts. Train the body, attention, and pacing that make people feel actually heard.

Holding hard rooms

Frameworks for grief, conflict, and high-stakes conversations — rehearsed in live circles, not slides.

Empathy without collapse

Protect your nervous system. Stay close to the other person without losing yourself in the process.

Frequently asked

Empathy training, answered.

What is empathy training, exactly?+

Empathy training is structured practice that grows a leader's capacity to perceive, regulate, and respond to the inner experience of the people they lead. At TRUEHN it's taught as a craft — drills, live cohorts, and case work — not as a workshop you sit through.

Who is TRUEHN's empathy training for?+

Working leaders: founders, executives, nonprofit directors, clinicians, educators, and coaches who already hold responsibility for others and want their empathy to land in the room, not just in their intentions.

How is it different from a typical leadership course?+

Cohorts are small, peer-led by practicing Compassionists, and built around real cases you bring from your own leadership. There are no scripts, no role-play actors, and no certifications you can buy your way into.

How long does the program take?+

The core empathy curriculum runs twelve weeks of readings, drills, and live circle work. Graduates continue inside the broader compassion network for ongoing peer practice.

Can I get empathy training without joining the full network?+

No. Training is a doorway into the network, not a standalone product. The relationships are the point — empathy isn't a skill you take home alone, it's one you keep alive in community.
